The Goals of this Symposium are:

  • To share exciting new advances and ideas in biotechnology (systems biology, cytokine immunology, functional genomics and proteomics) for new drug discovery.

  • To provide opportunities for life-long learners to network with scientists and other professionals in academia, start-up companies, established biotechnology companies and large pharmaceutical companies.

  • To encourage biotechnology collaboration between academia and Industry and to build a bridge for biotech-pharma between the USA, Europe and Asia (HK-China, India etc).

These symposia provide a great opportunity to learn about the latest advances in biotechnology from top scientists, and they are an ideal venue for meeting biotechnology and pharmaceutical company executives and decision-makers face-to-face. Every attendee also has the opportunity to give a one-minute "Smart Pitch" at the meeting to introduce themselves to the audience for future collaboration.

We are seeking speakers, volunteers and sponsors for the Nobel Pauling Biotech Symposium.
